S.H.A.R.E. (Sexual health And Relationship Education)
S.H.A.R.E. creates a safe space for students to reflect on their own values and beliefs about sexuality and their future goals. Our FREE presentations are interactive, humorous, entertaining, age-appropriate, unbiased, and factual. It opens the conversation surrounding sex, sexuality and relationships and aspires to encourage young people to think critically about their sexual decisions.
Students grow in their understanding of the impacts of sexual activity and are equipped to evaluate their choices. They learn that the choices they make now can have a significant impact on themselves, and on their future relationships.
By motivating and giving teens strategies through stories, scientific facts, and conversation, they can navigate the culture, their changing bodies and the sexual pressures surrounding them. We enable students to make informed and healthy choices regarding their sexual development.
Our goals are:
- To inform students on the positive aspects of sexual integrity and invite them to think through the influences of peer/social pressures.
- To challenge students to analyze cultural messages about sex and relationships.
- To empower young people to practice intentional decision making and think critically about healthy choices.
Presentation topics include:
- The power of sex
- The impact of social media
- What is sexual health?
- Pornography
- Sexual integrity and your values
- Unexpected pregnancy
- Healthy and unhealthy relationships/dating
- Sexually transmitted infections
- Boundaries/knowing your limits
